OPMCA is a statewide organization with over 300 members who represent more than 3,000 retail outlets with 50,000 employees.
OPMCA is comprised of oil and gasoline wholesalers, retailers, suppliers, convenience store operators and associates of the petroleum and convenience store industry. Our members own and/or supply branded and unbranded stations. Many own gasoline stations and convenience stores stretching throughout the Southwest.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Legislative representation at the state and national level. It is true there is "strength in numbers". We can accomplish collectively what can never be done individually.
OPMCA represents members’ interests on regulatory and other issues and is the watchdog for legislation at the Oklahoma State Capitol.
National issues are monitored through PMAA, our national association.
OPMCA’s main office and staff serve as a liaison between members and the federal and state governments.
WHAT ARE SOME OF OUR ACCOMPLISHEMENTS?
Created the Oklahoma Indemnity Fund for petroleum storage tanks clean-up. This saves tank owners millions of dollars and is one of the best in the country.
Advocate for Tax Fairness.
Worked with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission to develop a free operator training for c-store employees.
OPMCA has a great working relationship with all state agencies that oversee the petroleum marketing/c-store industry.
